REQ# GDI_18_014: Must have a minimum AA/AS degree in IT or related technical field degree and at least ten (10) years’ experience in system administration (e.g., Windows or Linux operating systems) and help desk support. Must have knowledge of deployed tactical communication systems and joint networks. Will provide remote help desk support via telephone or remote administration to technicians in the field. Will manage and update trouble ticket database. Must have the ability to resolve trouble tickets without escalation. Must be self-motivated with attitude for continuous learning and current knowledge of new technology. Familiarity with the OSI model and leveraging knowledge to translate in to troubleshooting concepts. Ability to work with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve layered issues. Additional related duties may be assigned. Candidate will have privileged system access and must meet minimum DoD Cybersecurity Workforce IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent plus an operating systems certificate (e.g., Linux+, CCNA/CCNP, and or Windows Server certifications)). Candidate must be a US citizen and have a TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
